Let's Go Design was a SolidWorks marketing initiative in which SolidWorks employees took on over-the-top engineering projects to showcase SolidWorks software. In addition to helping with general fabrication, I was called in to solve last-minute design and engineering challenges.
In this episode I ham it up for the camera to explain a few problems that arose in the final stages of the "Hot Rod Baby Buggy" project, and our ideas for solving them.
Here's the final episode where host Jeremy Luchini shows off the working buggy. At ~1:50 he describes the mechanism I designed and built to use a golf cart throttle potentiometer as a bidirectional skid-steer style lever control.
